Subj: Pollard Date: Sat, Feb 1, 1997 6:44 AM EDT From: macian@idt.net X-From: macian@idt.net (Bernard Henderson) Reply-to: macian@idt.net To: CODOHmail@aol.com The problem you have is that you tend to believe the fantastic stories about the Pollards spread by the government, such as the huge stack of documents he supposedly gave to the Israelis. Well I have the suitcase, which is a rather small suitcase, and I have all the government's detailed reports about each and every transfer of information. There is simply no way this litle suitcase in each of every transfer the government recorded could have did the things they fanticize. Those were simply stories put out by people who only wanted to lie about each and every detail. The reason I posess this suitcase is that I am Anne Pollard's father, and had to witness the terrible lies the government's disinformation agents spread about the Pollards. I believe that the information he gave to the Israelis allowed them to attack the PLO headquarters, but more important, allowed Israel to prove to Syria that it couldn't attack Israael at that time. Remember Syria had been armed with the latest Russian planes and missiles. Pollard gave Israel all the electronic codes for those planes and missiles. Israel sent a drone plane over Damascus, the Syrians sent up missiles to destroy it, but they were futile, thanks to Jay Pollard's information. Assad reaalized that his supposed advantage over Israel was futile, and called off the impending attack on Israel, an attack he had the backing of Sudddam Hossein of Iraq, who could deliver his front-line troops to Damascus within 24 hours. In other words, Jay Pollard prevented a Middle-East war at that time. But if you would like to see this suitcase, or know that the story about the 'room-full' of transferred documents is no more than the lying fantasisies of the federal prosecutor at the time (Joseph DiGenova, a now standard on CNN, but also a drunk who was thrown out of the White House in the Reagan administration), just ask. But please don't carry false stories on. Oh by the way. my daughter Anne never pleaded guilty to any crime whatsoever, again something you wrote which is totally false. My daughter Anne spent 3 1/2 years in prison, but the charges against her had nothing whatsover to do with espionage. She was never involved in Jay's espionage. Her prison sentence was for the crime of living in a house where her husband took classified documents. She had no choice in that "crime." ----------------------- Headers -------------------------------- From macian@idt.net Sat Feb 1 05:44:10 1997 Return-Path: macian@idt.net Received: from u1.farm.idt.net (u1.farm.idt.net [169.132.8.10]) by emin20.mail.aol.com (8.6.12/8.6.12) with ESMTP id FAA13665 for <CODOHmail@aol.com>; Sat, 1 Feb 1997 05:44:07 -0500 Received: from 169.132.97.25 (ppp-25.ts-3.nyc.idt.net [169.132.97.25]) by u1.farm.idt.net (8.8.5/8.8.5) with SMTP id FAA14168 for <CODOHmail@aol.com>; Sat, 1 Feb 1997 05:44:01 -0500 (EST) Message-ID: <32F3054D.10EE@mail.idt.net> Date: Sat, 01 Feb 1997 03:56:47 -0500 From: Bernard Henderson <macian@idt.net> Reply-To: macian@idt.net X-Mailer: Mozilla 3.01 (Macintosh; I; 68K) MIME-Version: 1.0 To: CODOHmail@aol.com Subject: Pollard Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Back to "Should Pollard go free?" |
