Herbert Pitlik

Pitlik represents revisionist theses in brochures, which he publishes independently. Among other things, he published a pamphlet in which he noted that the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" were a prophetic scripture ("The Protocols of the Elders of Zion after 100 Years"), in another writing he commented on the protocols of the Nuremberg Trials ("A trace to the truth? The Nuremberg Trial").

In the summer of 2006, he was charged with NS re-offenses for these two brochures; a Vienna jury pronounced him free on 7 July. His co-defendant publisher, Karl Steinhauser, allegedly said that he was "anti-Semitic" during the trial. The public prosecutor's office has filed a petition for annulment and appeal, the verdict is therefore not yet final.

In another booklet he examined the alleged crimes committed in Majdanek concentration camp.
