IMT + NMTs

The International Military Tribunal (IMT) at Nuremberg, organized by the Americans, but held in unison by all four victorious powers, gave the lynching of the German political elite a pseudo-legal cover. To this day, orthodox scholars laud this high-profile lynch party as a paragon of justice – which tells more about those scholars than about that tribunal.

After the IMT, the Americans conducted a number of further lynch parties in Nuremberg all by themselves (NMT). These were a continuation of the decapitation of Germany started at the IMT, although the other three victorious powers refused to cooperate, as they had their own fish to fry.

The contributions listed here take a critical look into these trials.

© Historical Review Press, 1988 Introduction War crimes trials are characterized by the assumption that rules of evidence are a technicality designed to enable the guilty to evade punishment. In fact, however, their purpose is to protect tribunals from errors in judgement. Centuries ago, it was common to prosecute women …

Translator's note: The following is is a typical example of Nuremberg "evidence". The "testimony" consists of "written statements" said to have been signed by "eyewitnesses", but which are simply "quoted" in a "report" written by the Stalinists and read aloud (in excerpt form) by the Soviet prosecutor. The "statements" are …

These were the trials of the top surviving members of the Nazi leadership. At the conclusion of the trials, a set of volumes would be produced documenting the evidence …

A common response to expressions of skepticism about the Holocaust story is to say something like "What about Nuremberg? What about the trials and all the evidence?!" This reaction is understandable because the many postwar "war crimes" trials have given explicit, authoritative judicial legitimacy to the Holocaust extermination story. By …

At the end of WWII, the Allies decided to try the German leadership for alleged war crimes. The background to this decision was spelled out in some detail in the "Moscow Declaration" of October 30, 1943. The Russians (I know that it is politically correct to call them "Soviets", but …
