Trudeau Blots his Politically Correct Copy Book

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tours the National Holocaust Monument last week… Something missing?

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has blotted his Politically Correct copy book at the unveiling of Canada latest Holocaust Memorial when it was noticed that the  memorial was missing any reference to Jewish people.

Conservative MP;David Sweet is looking to get answers!In a formal request,Sweet says he wants the government to say who gave final approval for the text on the plaque and who was the highest ranking official in the Prime Ministers Office that signed off on the text.How could the Prime Minister permit such a glaring omission of reference to anti-Semitism and the fact that the millions of men, women, and children who were murdered were overwhelmingly Jewish "

David Sweet with flag lapel pin, expanded
definition of the “new anti-semitism” and lack of knowledge of current research

Sweet is on the steering committee of the Canadian Parliamentary Coalition to Combat Antisemitism.

The CPCCA is very concerned with what it calls "new antisemitism," things like Holocaust Revisionism, expressing too much sympathy for oppressed Palestinians or support for the BDS movement.

The adamancy of Sweet in promoting the Holocaust as "a Jewish thing" is odd.  Even Jewish groups have opened up  “Victim-of-the-Nazis” status to a more diverse rainbow of groups, all allegedly thrown into gas chamber-showers by evil Germans. But this attachment to the Holocaust tale seems common among western politicians.

One can understand why groups like the ADL or World Jewish Congress promote belief in the Holocaust story.  The question is why do western politicians, and particularly German politicians,

partake of the discredited narrative to the extent of denying their own constituents rights of free speech and historical debate.  What is disconcerting is that not one of these politicians seems to know the slightest thing of recent main stream research.

Filled with Shame

At her May 2008 appearance at the Knesset, Angela Merkel said, "The mass murder of 6 million Jews, carried out in the name of Germany, has brought indescribable suffering to the Jewish people, Europe and the entire world.” She said Germans were “filled with shame” over the Nazi Holocaust."  Then she started blubbering.

On April 23, 2012 President Obama proclaimed, "I’ve stood with survivors, in the old Warsaw ghettos, where a monument honors heroes who said we will not go quietly; we will stand up, we will fight back.  And I’ve walked those sacred grounds at Yad Vashem, with its lesson for all nations -- the Shoah cannot be denied."

On August 28, 2017 UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres;

 “I believe that the horror of the Holocaust should be such that antisemitism should now be dead forever but, unfortunately, we see it alive and well.” -August 28, 2017

Prime Minister Theresa May; She visited Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust memorial, laying a wreath at the Hall of Remembrance in memory of those who perished:

“I was deeply moved by my visit to Yad Vashem. It is a powerful reminder of the most terrible crime of history. Remembering is sacred, and the UK stands committed to commemorating the Holocaust, the victims and the survivors”.
