Willis Carto was a towering figure on the American Right from the 1950s until his death in 2015. He founded The Barnes Review, American Free Press, the IHR and other organizations. His widow Elisabeth Carto, 79, talks (One Hour and 300 minutes) about his life. Willis Allison Carto was born in 1926, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He served in the US Army in World War 2, and was shot by a Japanese sniper in the Phillipines, recieving the Purple Heart. Willis was active in many organisations and newspapers, such as the Liberty Lobby, the Spotlight (newspaper), The American Free Press (newspaper), The American Mercury(newspaper), the National Youth Alliance. Willis founded the Institute of Historical Review in 1979, an organisation which attempted to bring history in line with the facts. He founded a publishing company, Noontide Press, which brought out very many books about Race, and also exposed the "Holocau$t" as a fraud. Later, Willis founded the Barnes Review magazine. In 1984, Willis was involved in starting a new political party called the Populist Party, which lasted until 1996. Willis also acquired the Sun Radio Network in 1989. Willis died in 2015, of a heart attack, aged 89 . He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery. This is part 2 of 2.
