Als der in den USA geborene Jonathan Pollard verhaftet, vor Gericht gestellt, enttarnt und schließlich zu einer hohen Gefängnisstrafe verurteilt wurde, weil er als Spion für das Land seiner Loyalität gearbeitet hatte - er hatte als Offizier der US-Streitkräfte die höchsten strategischen und taktischen Geheimnisse der USA an Israel verraten -, trommelten die Medien auf das Volk ein, daß trotz dieses faulen Apfels die amerikanischen Juden loyal zu den USA stünden und daß Israel der großartigste demokratische Verbündete, wenn nicht gar der einzige Verbündete der USA im mittleren Osten sei. Die nachfolgend aufgelisteten Organisationen setzten sich für eine Herabsetzung der Strafe des amerikanischen Verräters und Spions für Israel ein - ein Mann, dem nachgesagt wird, er habe den USA ähnlich schwer geschadet wie die Atomspione der späten 40er Jahre, die Rosenbergs, die unter lautem Protest vor allem jüdischer und marxistischer Kreise ihrer gerechten Strafe zugeführt wurden. Wie steht es nun mit der Loyalität dieser Kreise?
