Philip "Shylock" Weiss Expands Collective Guilt

At the National Summit to Reassess the U.S.-Israel Special Relationship at the National Press Club Washington DC, March 7, 2014. Philip Weiss, co-author of the Mondoweiss Web site, expanded the notion of collective guilt (for the Holocaust, of course), when he said, "In the Holocaust, the West incurred a debt to Jews." In this breathtaking expansion of the scope of collective guilt from (some) National Socialists, to (some) Germans, to all Germans, to "the West," Weiss is left with a next step that must embrace all of humanity, except possibly for (some) Jews.

This five-minute excerpt features a brave and forcefully eloquent lady who brought up the issue of legislative mandates in states like California to teach the Holocaust, and panelist Jeffrey Blankfort contributes a great deal of "in the trenches" experience as a teacher in that state.
