Andrew Gray (d. 29 August 2001) is best known as the translator of Cambridge University Press's edition of Richard Wagner's autobiography, My Life. Mr. Gray was also a member of the Wagner Society of New York and a frequent contributor to "Wagner Notes." For several years Mr. Gray served as the copy editor of The Barnes Review. His final public address, "Authentic History and the First Amendment," was given in June 2001 in Washington DC at The Barnes Review's Second International Conference.
