One of the most popular areas on CODOHWeb is our International page. On this page we feature important revisionist papers in languages other than English. Specifically, we now offer works in Arabic, Danish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. We happily perform the public service of beaming banned works directly back into the very countries responsible for their censorship.

We have just learned that on March 10, 1997 German Thought Police conducted raids on the home of Germar Rudolfs in-laws and a friend who maintained a Post Office Box for him. CODOH has obtained a copy of the search warrant which was issued by the State Court of Boeblingen. This judicial inquiry was signed by one Dr. Payer, Judge of the District Court. The charge was the typical Orwellian charge of today s Germany, "inciting racial hatred” (Volksverhetzung).

According to the document:

A warrant is hereby ordered for... the purpose of confiscating and/or placing into police custody:

1. Written documents pertaining to the publication on the Internet and in particular concerning contacts with the “Committee for Open Debate on the Holocaust” made with Germar Scheerer [i.e. Germar Rudolf] and otherwise illegal and relevant materials, in particular anti-Semitic writings which incite to racial hatred, as well as ancillary materials, such as computer accessories, disks, etc.

The warrant continues:

On the Internet in recent times there is a site which has been disseminating racial hatred inciting materials to this address. The aforementioned address is a contact for the duly convicted but fugitive Germar Scheerer [i.e. Germar Rudolf].

Therefore the suspicion exists, that the sale and distribution of the relevant illegal writings, such as the Rudolf-Gutachten (The Rudolf Report), Auschwitz: Nackte Fakten (Auschwitz: Naked Facts), and Grundlagen zur Zeitgeschichte (Foundations of Contemporary History) are being carried out by the aforementioned accused or from his address.

Using this warrant as their passkey, the Thought Police of the new “democratic” Germany raided the homes in question. Apparently the objective of the raid was to obtain any information leading to the whereabouts of Germar Rudolf. This raid once again has forced Rudolf and his family to move in order to stay a step ahead of the new Gestapo.

Interestingly, the three works cited in the warrant are among the most scholarly and objective treatments of the subject in existence. The Rudolf Report is a technical analysis of cyanide compounds in the “gas chambers” of Auschwitz. This lengthy report picks up where Fred Leuchter’s report left off. Auschwitz: Naked Facts is a compilation featuring leading revisionists’ analysis and debunking of the work of Jean-Claude Pressac. Foundations of Contemporary History is the primary scholarly anthology of its kind. It features articles by today’s leading revisionist authors including: John Ball, Friedrich Berg, Robert Faurisson, Carlo Mattogno, Germar Rudolf and others. Foundations was so threatening to Germany’s fearful regime that it was ordered to be burned (!) in the summer of 1996.

CODOHWeb is proud to present each of these works in German. In addition, we have been instrumental in the posting of Foundations of Contemporary History in its English translation. The realization of the German authorities' embarrassment over CODOHWeb’s struggle for intellectual freedom will in no way deter us. In fact, we have become even more resolved to counter today’s truth-censors.

CODOHWeb has now established a new index on our Intellectual Freedom page. This index is entitled “Banned Books.” Here we have begun listing various revisionist titles that have been banned around the world and a listing of the countries responsible for the censorship. Whenever possible CODOH will attempt to post these banned titles in their entirety to our Web site. Each of the titles mentioned in the German search warrant are listed on our new page and their entire texts can be found on CODOHWeb with the click of a mouse.

CODOH will continue to stand for Intellectual Freedom and we will continue to alert the world to the undemocratic way's of those who pull the strings of power in Germany today. The would-be censors, Thought Police and book burners of our time should recall the words of J.S. Mill, who wrote in his famous treatise, “On Liberty,” “We can never be sure that the opinion we are endeavoring to stifle is a false opinion; and if we were sure, stifling it would be an evil still.”

Two CODOH opinion pieces: Thomas [recte: Samuel] Crowell on the replica of the Majdanek “gas-chamber” door exhibited at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and Carlos Porter on War Crimes Trials. These two opinion pieces are circulating this month to student newspapers at our top universities. About 850 words each. I'll send you both for a couple bucks to cover p&h.
