Lionel Richard, a historian talks about the extensive laws to protect animals in National Socialist Germany. Boria Sax, another historian says that the Fuhrer [Leader] and Chancellor of National Socialist Germany brought in laws as soon as he could, in 1933, and that these laws were foremost in this sphere of activity. The USA actually awarded the Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler, a medal for his espousal of Animal Rights.
