Arthur Augustus William Harry Ponsonby (born 16 Feb. 1871, died 23 Mar. 1946), 1st Baron Ponsonby of Shulbrede, was a British politician, writer, and social activist. He served as leader of the Labour Party in the House of Lords from 1931 until 1935. In 1937-1938, Ponsonby ran a Peace Letter campaign against British preparations for a new war against Germany.
