Dr. David Ernest Duke (born in 1950) is a U.S. politician, author and podcaster. As a teenager, he briefly joined the Ku Klux Klan as a simple member, a decision that he regrets and haunts him to this day. From 1989 to 1992, Dr. Duke was a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the Republican Party.
