Author: Heinz Nawratil

Heinz Gottfried Nawratil (born June 18, 1937, Zauchtenthal [renamed after WWII into Suchdol nad Odrou], Czechia; died May 15, 2015) was a German lawyer, author and human rights activist. After World War II, Nawratil was expelled from Czechia with his family and settled in Bavaria. He studied law, earned a doctorate and worked as a civil law notary beginning in 1970. He lobbied for the rights of German expellees.
