Dr. Miklós Nyiszli (born June 17, 1901, Șimleu Silvaniei, Romania; died May 5, 1956) was a Hungarian Jew who studied and received his PhD from Breslau University (Germany). In June 1944, he was deported to Auschwitz. After the war, he wrote several mendacious texts about his war-time and postwar experiences.
