The Revisionist

The Journal for Open-Minded and Curious Thinkers

The Revisionist first appeared in late 1999, published by Bradley R. Smith. It was meant to primarily further the Campus Project by having an easy-to-read, slender magazine with brief papers and op-eds on issues surrounding the orthodox Holocaust narrative and its revision. The project lost inertia in 2002. To the temporary rescue came German revisionist scholar, author, editor and publisher Germar Rudolf, who between early 2003 and early 2005 edited and published 9 more issues, but this time also including many long, well-researched papers on the 120 pages of each letter size softcover issue. While Rudolf was working on the second issue of the year 2005, he was arrested by the U.S. authorities and subsequently deport to Germany (see his website for more info). Hence The Revisionist suddenly ceased to exist. It was later replaced by the extant online journal Inconvenient History

While the first, CODOH series of The Revisionist was merely numbered consecutively from one to thirteen, the later series was organized by 4 issues per yearly volume.

  • The Chilean Document

According to recent press reports, a newly declassified government document shows “U.S. intelligence officials knew about Nazi Germany's plan to eradicate the Jews early in World War II.” The document at the center of this revelation is a Chilean diplomatic document dated Nov. 24, 1941 and obtained by the U.S. by the third week of…

  • Holocaust Revisionism vs. Richard Evans

Lying About Hitler: History, Holocaust, and the David Irving Trials, Richard J. Evans, New York, 2001 As most visitors to this site already know, from January to April 2000 the high-profile libel case brought by British historian David Irving against Jewish American historian Deborah Lipstadt and her publisher, Penguin Books, was tried in the British…

  • Le Pen’s Notorious “Detail” Remark About World War II

Jean-Marie Le Pen, leader of France's National Front party, stunned the world on April 21, when he came in second in the French presidential race, to challenge the incumbent Jacques Chirac in the May 5 runoff election. Press coverage of the veteran nationalist political figure has been more than unfriendly; he has been maligned with…

  • Forked Tongues

“We are the shoes, we are the last witnesses.”—caption attached to a photo of a heap of shoes by U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum (See: http://www.ihr.org/jhr/v17/v17n5p29_Faurisson.html) It should come as no surprise to anyone over the age of twelve with an average intelligence that governments lie. Not just other governments, but the government that collects taxes…

  • World War I Atrocity Propaganda and the Holocaust

Dr. Robert Jan van Pelt, a professor of architecture at the University of Waterloo (Canada), has undoubtedly written one of the most important anti-Holocaust revisionist tomes ever penned.[1] Revisionist academic Samuel Crowell put his finger on the reasons as to why The Case for Auschwitz: Evidence from the Irving Trial is such an important work:…

  • Amos Oz and the Art of the Bluff

Thought is swamped with journalism. Palestine. Afghanistan. Bush. On the fartherest horizon, the U.S. Congress. Why choose sides? The most stirring journalism is the result of having chosen sides. Wealth, the result of liberty, drives everything, diminishing liberty everywhere journalism encounters it. I cannot be torn out of my culture, my genes. I can be…

  • Diagnosis without Cure

The Death of the West: How Dying Populations and Immigrant Invasions Imperil Our Country and Civilization, Patrick J. Buchanan, New York, 2002 The title of Pat Buchanan's latest book instantly brings to mind Oswald Spengler's classic two-volume study, The Decline of the West. The similarities between these efforts, however, end with the title. While Spengler's…

  • Holocaust Revisionism and Creationism

In his regular column of the February 2002 issue of Scientific American, Dr. Michael Shermer, one of Holocaust revisionism’s most dedicated opponents, claimed that Holocaust revisionism (or, as he labels it, “Holocaust denial”) is on par with and in the same league with Creationism (or, as he labels it, “evolution denial”). As we shall soon…

  • Croppy, Lie Down!

No historical analogy is perfect but events in Palestine today make me recall to mind Ireland at the end of the 18th century. Ireland was then ruled by and for an alien class of “planters”. With some honorable exceptions such as Jonathan Swift the arrogance of these people was legendary. They despised and oppressed the…
