Churchill Hitler and the Unnecessary War by Pat Buchanan (1:43:26)
In this video (One hour and 46 minutes), Patrick (“Pat”) Buchanan is interviewed about his book “Churchill, Hitler, and the Unnecessary War”. The interview took place on the 5th of August 2008. Pat was a key figure as a special consultant to several presidents (Nixon, Ford and Reagan). His role in the Reagan administration, which brought down the Communist regime in Russia, is notable. Pat is a powerful intellect on the Conservative Right in the United States, and often incurs the wrath of Zionists who hate his non-liberal views. Here Pat talks about his book and explains in detail how it was Winston Churchill, who he says was incredibly flawed in his political judgements, was mainly responsible for the collapse of the British Empire. Pat notes that the guarantee by the British Empire to Poland [which only counted in the case of a German attack] was a decision taken in panic after the collapse of the bogus state of Czechoslovakia. Pat points out that Adolf Hitler served on the front line in the First World War, and had wanted peace with the British Empire. Pat remarks that Hitler was a real statesman, and his aims were peace with the British Empire, an Empire he admired. Pat adds that Hitler did want the situation with Poland to be solved. Hitler had wanted a non-aggression treaty with Poland, like he had with Pilsudski, but after his death, Poland’s leaders (prodded by the British Empire) had rejected any proposals by Germany. Pat’s superb analysis, completely demolishes the policy of the British Empire against Germany. [Pat’s analysis is indeed the more remarkable as it was only revealed in 2017, that Chamberlain had authorised a campaign of terrorism against Germany and Italy, SIX MONTHS, before September 1939. This information only became available, when the SIS (Secret Intelligence Service – the Secret Service of the British Empire) files were [partially] released to the public in 2017, and are still relatively unknown]. Pat, not knowing this information, repeats the myth that Chamberlain was “weak”. Pat talks about the plan by Winston Churchill to attack neutral Norway, in order to interdict Iron ore supplies going from Sweden via Narvik, in Norway. [The iron ore supplies went from the Swedish port of Lulea, but this was icebound at various times of the year]. Pat was unaware, that Winston Churchill had also authorised an attack on the Swedish port of Lulea by aircraft from an aircraft carrier, HMS Glorious. This attack failed as HMS Glorious and two escort destroyers, was sunk by two German battleships. This information only became available in June 2020. This is a fascinating interview of an outstanding intellect on the American political scene. He was more “right” in his conclusions then he actually knew.
