Ingrid Rimland 12 July 1998.
In this video, (One hour and 25 minutes) we see Doctor Ingrid Rimland, giving a speech to a highly appreciative Canadian audience on 12th July 1998. Firstly, Paul Fromm receives a number of prizes for his heroic work in defending civil liberties in Canada. Paul thanks the audience for the gifts and pays homage to the large number of volunteers, who helped him in the struggle. Wolfgang Eulerich then takes the stand to introduce Dr Ingrid Rimland. He gives the audience a list of her outstanding literately achievements. Full credit is given to her marvellous books. Wolfgang also relates her tireless work in establishing and maintaining the Zundel website in the USA. A special note is made by Wolfgang of Doctor Ingrid Rimland’s bravery. She was not at all daunted when faced by Zionist-leftist thugs. Wolfgang tells of Doctor Rimland’s fight for justice in the world. As usual the Zionist-leftist lie machine stated that Dr Rimland was engaging in “hate”. Wolfgang states that in Canada, the truth is no longer a defense, the Canadian Human Rights Commission has decreed. Wolfgang gets a good round of applause from the audience, before turning over the stand to Doctor Rimland. Doctor Rimland explains she that will address the question of ethnic writing, her back ground being known to most of the audience. [Dr Ingrid Rimland was born up in a German Mennonite community in the Ukraine. When she was 5, her father was sent to Siberia by the Communists. As a refugee, she moved to Paraguay, and later to Canada.] Dr Rimland explains that she wrote a short story about language and culture, which she thought was the beginning of her “ethnic writing”. She explains about her prize winning novel “The Wanderers” was taken up by Bantam books, and how it sold like hot cakes. Then, the novel was withdrawn and the remaining copies shredded. The Jewish owners of Bantam books objected to the truthful observations on the German armed forces. It took five years in the courts, before Dr Rimland got the rights back for her book. This is a fascinating speech, by an attractive, elegant, and highly intelligent lady, which is greeted by massive applause. After a short pause, where Paul updates the audience with event news, Dr Rimland returns to the stand to answer questions from the audience. Three years later, Ernst Zundel and Ingrid were married in 2001. Ingrid sadly passed away in 2017, two months after her beloved Ernst. May they rest in peace.
