In this 32 minute video clip, Jim Rizoli and Diane King discuss in January 2021, the sinking of German ships, evaculating German civilians from East Prussia in 1945 resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent people. The Red Army was advancing on East Prussia, despite very heavy losses, and was committing mass rapes of women and girls, and numerous atrocities. Some of the ships involved in the evaculation was sunk by Soviet submarines, with heavy loss of life. The largest ship was the Wilhelm Gustloff, a liner built to take German workers and their families on cruises for the German Labor Front (DAF). The ship was to be called after Hitler but he changed the name after sitting next to Hedwig, Wilhelm's widow at his funeral. Wilhelm, the founder of the Swiss branch of the NSDAP – AO had been assassinated by a Jew. Two other large ships, the Goya, and the Steuben was also sank at this time. It is estimated that 9,400 people lost their lives in the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff.
