The Six Million Fact or Fiction (TSMF) OF SERIES Chap 2 The Number Peter Winter

In this (27 minute) video, Jim Rizoli reviews the second chapter of Peter Winters book The Six Million Fact or Fiction which was released in 2018. In this chapter, Peter Winter reviews the number of Jews under German control – about 4.5 million. This figure is based on a list produced at the Wannsee conference in 1942. There was in Europe about 11 million Jews, in total. Jim notes that post war claims by Jews totalled 4.3 million (4,384,138). Jim moves on section 11 which looks at Yad Yashem's victim list, which seems to based on hearsay. Section 12 discusses the origin of the six million figure so oft quoted. Section 13 notes the reductions in the death toll by Jewish "expert" Raul Hilberg. The Polish government reduced the number of 4 million killed at Auschwitz to one million. Jim points out that despite this drop of three million, six million is still claimed as the overall death toll. Section 14 details that the Auschwitz death toll has been reduced several times. Section 15 notes the various claims – one was nine million. Jim cites that the NY Times stated the number of cremations at Auschwitz was 73,137, of each 38,031 were Jews. [Note: this figure is based on the Auschwitz Mortality registers released by the Russian government after the collapse of Communism. Some of the registers are missing, and an reasonable estimate to allow for this would be about 100,000.] Jim notes that each oven at Auschwitz had a limit of 3,000 cremations before the tiles had to be replaced. Jim makes the rough calculation that as there were about 50 ovens at Auschwitz, that meant a upper limit of 50 x 3,000 cremations about 150,000. [Note: Since many ovens broke down or were removed the figure would be much lower.] Jim notes that there is a figure of 403,713 persons cited as all deaths in the camps (not all of these being Jews). Jim moves on to the Korherr report. This was a report compiled by a expert in population statistics, Dr Korherr, for Himmler, and was later edited for Hitler. The report gives details of Jewish movements – being moved to the Russian East, and does not mention "gassings". The report also gives a figure that about 9,000 Jews were in camps designated as concentration camps at the time of the report.
