1000 Nazis Did Not Take Over America with Operation Paperclip Plus Other Topics D.R. Tankie (15055 Hrs)

Brian Ruhe of the Truth and Justice for Germans Society interviews D R Tankie (DRT) about Operation Paperclip in this (one hour 50 minute) video. Operation Paperclip was a secret US operation in which over 1,600 German scientists, engineers and technicians were taken from defeated National Socialist Germany to be employed by the US Government. The USSR had a similar operation (Osoavihim) where 2,200 German experts and their families, totalling 6,000 people were deported in one night to the USSR. The brilliant rocket scientist, Wernher Von Braun headed the US list. Von Braun headed the US space project and was instrumental in the first landing on the moon in 1969. DRT explains that Operation Paperclip was a real event, but there are a number of conspiracy theories which have spun off the subject. These conspiracy theories have differing amounts of truth in them and some seem truthful, but others are bizarre. DRT explains that in certain times a “marriage of conveniece” sometimes comes into being. Enemies sometimes have mutual interests. The USA wanted to exploit the German scientists to help their military development. DRT talks about how some Germans (Gehlen)were recruited by the CIA to fight the new enemy, the Communists in the cold war. DRT mentions other factors, how Ukrainians who are “far right” nationalists are recruited to fight ethnic Russians backed by the Russian Government in the eastern areas, yet their other activities, like a White Lives Matter march in Kiev are unacceptable. DRT mentions the stories that Otto Skorzeny was recruited by Mossad as Germans says DRT are the best at everything. DRT states that Otto Ernst Remer (who defeated the July 20 plotters) adopted a pro-USSR position when he was campaigning after the war. DRT says that even the most far-fetched stories have some elements of truth. DRT draws attention to the tyrants of the left who never seem to be hated on the same magnitude as Hitler. DRT explains that Communist symbols (like the Hammer and Sickle) can be worn without incident, while a swastika would provoke a violent response. DRT talks about oddities, like Black Panthers with Confederate flags for example. Brian and DRT discuss Communism and whether it is true that Stalin was really hostile to Jews near the end of his life. Was Stalin prepared to purge Jews in the Soviet Union?
