Prof. Dr. Joel Hayward (born 27 May 1964 in Christchurch, New Zealand) is an influential British military historian who has taught at various universities and institutions. His 1991 Master's Thesis on the history of Holocaust revisionism injudiciously endorsed revisionist statements, which got Hayward in trouble. He has since taken a thoroughly mainstream stance on the matter.
