Author: Mark Weber

Mark Edward Weber (born October 9, 1951 in Portland, Oregon) studied history at the University of Illinois (Chicago), the University of Munich (Germany), and Portland State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in history (with high honors). He then did graduate work in history at Indiana University (Bloomington), where he served as a history instructor and received a Master's degree in European history. Since 1995, Weber has been director of the California-based Institute for Historical Review (IHR), which until the early 2000s was a leading revisionist research and publishing outlet. For nine years, he was also editor of the IHR's former Journal of Historical Review, which folded in 2002. Since the early 2000s, Weber has consistently refused any cooperation with other revisionist outlets and organizations. His IHR does not even mention the existence of other organizations, such as CODOH, Castle Hill Publishers or Armreg Ltd, let alone any of their activities or publications.

Book Detailing Jewish Crimes Against Germans Banned

Germany's cultural-political establishment no longer orders the destruction of “socially dangerous” literature in public bonfires. Today it resorts to more modern, environment-friendly methods to destroy “undesirable” books. In February 1995, thousands of copies of a revisionist work detailing postwar Jewish crimes against Germans were destroyed, following bitter attacks by Germany's cultural establishment. The book, An…

In a section headed “Mistreatment of Prisoners,” Eicke announces that an SS Sergeant named Zeidler was being punished because, “in a sadistic mood,” he had…

Goebbels’ Place in History

No other name is so firmly associated with the term propaganda, conjuring lies and deceit, than that of Dr. Joseph Goebbels. But the popular image of this man, particularly in the United States, is a crude caricature. Following his birth in 1897 in Rheydt, a medium-size city in the German Rhineland, Paul Joseph Goebbels was…

Major French Magazine Acknowledges Auschwitz Gas Chamber Fraud

One of France’s most influential and reputable magazines, L’Express, now acknowledges that “everything is false” about the Auschwitz “gas chamber” that for decades has been shown to tens of thousands of tourists yearly. “Auschwitz: The Memory of Evil,” a lengthy article by journalist and historian Eric Conan, a dedicated anti-revisionist, appears in the January 19–25,…

Doug Collins Under New Fire for Holocaust Views

Over the years, few Canadian writers have delighted and aggravated more readers than Doug Collins. Now semi-retired, the feisty, articulate British-born journalist regularly still turns out an often-provocative column for the widely-read North Shore News of North Vancouver, British Columbia. No stranger to controversy, Collins has recently come under fire from Jewish groups for a…
