Fond Memories of Dr. Robert Faurisson by Mark Weber, IHR and Paul Fromm

Mark Weber has known Dr. Robert Faurisson since 1979. He is the director of the Institute of Historical Review at ihr.org. A chat conducted by Brian Ruhe. Professor/Doctor Robert Faurisson was a highly educated Frenchman who contested and exposed the Holocau$t as a lie in his native France. For his brilliant resistance, Robert was dragged through the courts on bogus charges, fined several times, by leftist courts, physically assaulted many times, and incredibly "fired" from his university. At this time, any opposition in France to the "Holocau$t" lie was subjected to very severe harrassment. Francois Duprat (1940 – 1978), was car bombed and killed, and his wife, crippled for life. Another Frenchman had acid thrown in his face. Professor Faurisson was responsible for the advice to Ernst Zundel about finding a "gas chamber" expert. This led to the famous Leuchter Report, where Fred Leuchter an expert on execution technology investigated Auschwitz and Madjanek and found no evidence of "gas chambers" whatsoever. After a lifetime of fighting for the truth, Professor Robert Faurisson passed away at his home in Vichy, France aged 89.

Mark Edward Weber (born October 9, 1951 in Portland, Oregon) studied history at the University of Illinois (Chicago), the University of Munich (Germany), and Portland State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in history (with high honors). He then did graduate work in history at Indiana University (Bloomington), where he served as a history instructor and received a Master's degree in European history. Since 1995, Weber has been director of the California-based Institute for Historical Review (IHR), which until the early 2000s was a leading revisionist research and publishing outlet. For nine years, he was also editor of the IHR's former Journal of Historical Review, which folded in 2002. Since the early 2000s, Weber has consistently refused any cooperation with other revisionist outlets and organizations. His IHR does not even mention the existence of other organizations, such as CODOH, Castle Hill Publishers or Armreg Ltd, let alone any of their activities or publications.
