Dear Subscriber and Supporter:

This fall—this month—I’m taking the most provocative question in Holocaust revisionism—my request for the name of one person, with proof, who was gassed at Auschwitz—to the world’s most important international forum, the United Nations, in the world’s media capital, New York City.

Your contribution to this important step forward for CODOH’s “One Person with Proof” project will enable me to link, for the first time in so important a venue, two questions central to the history of the 20th and the 21st centuries:

“What evidence is there for gassings at Auschwitz, the central pillar of the Holocaust myth?,” and

“Isn’t it time that the world’s nations see that Auschwitz-style atrocity propaganda serves war, not peace?

If you’ve been following Smith’s Report and my website www.codoh.com, you know that my “One Person with Proof” campaign has systematically confronted the most authoritative of establishment Holocaust scholars and activists with my “One Person with Proof” question, a question that is particularly daunting to those folk because of its simplicity and sincerity. So far, the noisiest of the Auschwitz activists and savants—from Deborah Lipstadt to Alan Dershowitz—have been unable to answer my question and unwilling to try. As have more than 2,000 American academics and researchers whom I’ve asked for that one name, with proof.

As Arthur Butz recently stated, “In the context of the Holocaust controversy, this is the single most lethal arrow in revisionism’s quiver.” Robert Faurisson tells me: “Keep asking. Keep asking.”

My advance on the UN, and in particular on its Economic, Social, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) not only places the Project in the world’s diplomatic, financial, and informational nerve center, it responds to and builds on several recent realities.

UNESCO states that it has a mandate to defend the basic human right of freedom of expression and press freedom, “which are the essential components of democracy.” It states that this human right “includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”
At the same time, on 26 January 2007 the UN General Assembly called on all its 192 Member States to “reject any denial of the Holocaust as a historical event, either in full or in part, or any activities to this end.” The Assembly did so. While you can see the elephant in the room here, it appears that those whose mandate is to defend the basic human right of freedom of expression and press freedom at UNESCO and at the UN General Assembly—for everyone—have been looking the other way. No one calls them on it. That is about to change.

For the first time ever individuals representing the Holocaust Industry are going to be thrust into the spotlight of the United Nations, particularly the UNESCO agency, as they work to suppress and censor revisionist arguments in the press and campus, promote their vicious hunt for aged survivors of the German and German-allied military, and go about publicly betraying the ideals that UNESCO so proudly promotes. This will be the time that a revisionist project will be carried to the United Nations itself, the “moral authority” that all the people in the world are urged to respect.

My approach to the UN comes at a time that is increasingly receptive to warnings against government-media propaganda that aims to stampede nations and peoples into ruinous wars, above all with specters of extermination by weapons of mass destruction. The exposure of nearly all the Bush administration’s claims of an Iraqi threat as bogus has made millions of Americans, as well as hundreds of millions of others around the globe, highly suspicious of propaganda for past and future wars.

Thus the recent upsurge in books, and even a major network television documentary, presenting strongly revisionist versions of the Second World War has been no coincidence.

Nicholson Baker’s Human Smoke (2008), Pat Buchanan’s Hitler, Churchill, and the Unnecessary War (2008), Giles MacDonough’s After the Reich: The Brutal History of Allied Occupation (2007), and the chapters on Dresden in Kurt Vonnegut’s posthumous collection Armageddon in Retrospect (2008)—all from leading publishing houses—have assailed Allied policies and Allied crimes with brutal frankness. And then there is the three-part documentary that recently ran on PBS, Harvard historian Niall Ferguson’s The Great War, which surely shocked many of the PBS faithful with its message that there were no good guys and no “good war.”

To these powerful stirrings my “One Person with Proof” adds a decisive step: an explicit confrontation with the gas-chamber-Auschwitz-Holocaust shibboleth—the sharpest arrow in the U.S.-Israeli (thermonuclear) quiver, and the one question that remains taboo even for writers like Buchanan and historians like Ferguson. Even as my presentation of “One Person with Proof” dramatizes this crucial nexus by the international establishment: dodging key Holocaust questions while suppressing the questioners.

While this project will take revisionism to the top of the world’s most important international forum, in the capital of world media, at the same time it is a concept that is simple, direct, and powerful. I don’t have to invent the wheel here. It is a synthesis of work I have done before with the press, radio, and in the universities.
I have The Question. It goes to the heart of the issue, and no one else is asking it:

I have the advertisement (above) that features The Question. We don’t need a big, expensive ad with a lot of text. We have an ad with an attention-grabbing headline, and a succinct, provocative text. An ad that says it all in a few words.

And I have the Project that, using The Auschwitz Question, will challenge the interconnected web of the mass-media complex, the United Nations, the universities, and whether they like it or not, the Holocaust Industry itself. (The format for the printed page will be sleightly different.)

There are more than 42,000 pages that reference Holocaust Revisionism in English on the Internet. This is aside from the tens of thousands of pages in European languages, and now in Farsi, Arabic, and even the languages of the Far East and South Asia. That revisionism would reach such wide audiences was unthinkable even a few short years ago.

The willingness of people around the world to listen to revisionist arguments is spreading like a wild fire. With my new “One Question with Proof” campaign I am going to fan those flames at the United Nations itself, in the cause of a free press and a cultural environment that is dedicated to one intellectual and moral standard—for all people everywhere, not for some people in privileged communities. I will use the ideals as set forth by UNESCO itself, which states that it has a “mandate” to defend the basic human right of freedom of express and press freedom.

The project is ready to go. I’m ready to go. The new academic year is here. This is the time. With your help in placing the enclosed advertisement in student newspapers, I will be able to do this. Each insertion will cost on average a modest $160 – $210. It varies. There are expenses in developing the contact lists, expenses working with the CODOH Website, the expenses that are always there. But at the beginning, the funds for placing the ads are crucial. Please try to participate in this. It will make a very big difference.
