In this Voice of Freedom radio broadcast by Ernst Zundel (28 minutes), the reasons why WW2 started are examined. Ernst looks at the situation in Germany from WW1. The Germans were forced to sign a humilating treaty in France, not only losing a lot of territory, the people in those territories, and were forced to pay reparations until 1988! Ernst looks at the mounting chaos in Germany, and the threat posed by Communists or Social Democratic thugs on the street. The government was useless, not only economically, but also morally. It was not until that Adolf Hitler decided to meet terror with terror with the Stormtroops. Ernst relates that Germany went from crisis to crisis. There was red uprisings all over the country and in some case Red Republics were established, before they were defeated. Ernst looks at the measures undertaken by the National Socialists when the communists burn down the Reichstag. Ernst says that Hermann Goring was accused of being involved personally by the Communists. [Note: the communists had a "investigation in London when masked Nazi defectors gave evidence that the National Socialists had started the fire in the Reichstag, by entering it through hidden tunnels. The masked defectors were actually Communists of Jewish origin.] Ernst continues with his story of the German National Socialist Revolution.
