Adolf Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told, Part 1/3 (1:56:23)
The first part of a video (of 3 parts) that tells the side of Hitler that is usually not told. In this video (One hour and 56 minutes) the life and times of Adolf Hitler, probably the most dominant personality of the 20th century is explored and displayed. Huge numbers of cheering and saluting people greet Adolf whereever he goes. The pictures are clear, here was a leader truly loved by his people. Adolf was the first to travel by air all over Germany, from meeting to meeting, in his personal three engined Junkers 52 aircraft. Yet, Adolf was not born to wealth like many other so-called statesmen of the 20th century, but to working class parents in a small town in northern Austria. He aspired to be an artist and an architect, and was top of the class at school. The 1st World War breaking out, Adolf enlisted as a soldier. He won six awards for bravery, including two iron crosses, and often volunteered for dangerous missions. Adolf was popular with his fellow soldiers, and often drew sketches of them. Wounded several times, he was eventually gassed by the British Army. Consequently, he was in hospital when the war ended. Angered by the defeat of his country, and the slavish peace terms inflicted on Germany, Adolf went into politics. He soon found that certain forces, mainly the communists, of whom a large number were of Jewish origin, were determined to resist any German advancement. This is a fantastic and brilliant video, of the life of Adolf Hitler. This part takes his story up to 1941.
