Otto Adolf Eichmann (19 March 1906 – 1 June 1962) was a German-Austrian SS officer involved in organizing the rounding up and deportation of Jews to ghettos, concentration and labor camps as well as to settlement areas in eastern Europe between late 1941 and late 1944. Eichmann was kidnapped by the Mossad in Argentina on 11 May 1960, abducted to Israel, and dragged through the most publicized show trials in the history of mankind, at the end of which he was judicially murdered.
