The Six Million Fact or Fiction (TSMFOF) SERIES Chap 11-12 Peter Winter.
Jim Rizoli continues his review of the above book, adding comments to each section. The various sections are:-
Section 67 – the 'Reinhard' camps, why the name, which camps were in the Reinhard operation. Peter comments on the bizarre testimonies from"survivors.
Section 68 – A telegram from a SS officer (Hofle) sent from him in Poland to Eichmann in Berlin, decoded by the British Secret Service.
Section 69 – Execution by Diesel gas. More Jews were claimed by the Communists to have been by this method than by Zyclon [Note: Zyclon is the German word for Cyclone] B. The president of the Austrian Chamber of Engineers, Walter Luftl, said that "nobody can be gassed by diesel exhaust". Jim comments that story varied according to credence, another example of his "poof!" theory.
Section 70 – The purpose of the Reinhard camps.
Chapter 12 Section 71 – the Chelmno camp. Here 3 "gas" vans were employed to kill up to 300,000 Jews by loading them into "gassing" van which held 50 people. The dead Jews were buried and then apparently exhumed and the evidence.
Section 72 – "Gas" vans examined. Jim comments on a picture supposed to be of a "gassing van", saying it looks like a vehicle modified to run on wood chips. There was many attempts to save petrol or diesel by utilising different fuels. [Note: Viewers in the UK who have got past the ban (this site contains "incitement to racial hatred") by using a VPN, will recall a British comedy programme about the Home Guard called "Dads Army", where the unit van was modified to run on "gas", by having a balloon full of gas on its roof, with predictable consequences.]
Section 73 – SS officer Walter Rauff and "gassing" vans. Peter examines two documents that link Rauff with "gassing" vans and concludes that for a number of reasons they were Communist forgeries.
Section 74 – Forensic digs find Crematoria. Three forensic digs show different results from what was expected. Peter details the results.
Section 75 – The Chelmno Trials. In 1962 12 SS men were put on trial for their "activities" at the camp. the evidence against the SS men was exclusively from "survivors". None of the SS men were found guilty for operating "gassing" vans, but received sentences for being "accomplices".
