Anti-Semitism

The misnomer “Anti-Semitism” is used here merely for ease of communication. In fact, we are talking about anti-Judaism, because – ethnically speaking – Semites comprises all Arabs, yet only a minority of all Jews. We list here contributions dealing with actual hostility against Jews, along with contributions dealing with the political use and abuse of false or exaggerated claims of anti-Judaism.

  • The Most Anti-Semitic Incident of 2016

Revisionists have long been the target of a smear campaign alleging that our questioning the most extreme and impossible propaganda tales is “anti-Semitic” and we should be all thrown in jail. The governments of Europe have kindly obliged and have criminalized expressing doubt about any aspect of the Holocaust. Our warnings to free speech groups,…

  • How Holocaust Revisionism Can “Cause” “Anti-Semitism”

Deborah Lipstadt and the host she leads have made it holy writ that anti-Semitism is the leading cause for “Holocaust Denial.” To people schooled in this concept, which is most of us, the idea that the process can proceed in the reverse sounds backwards. Is it possible then that the process of “Denial” (questioning?) can…

  • Jewish Lightning – with Swastikas!

The arson of over-insured buildings – and cars – has somehow over the years acquired the prejudicial sobriquet “Jewish lightning,” a reference apparently not so much to the arsonists as to the owners of the torched assets who stand to collect from the insurance company. The burning last November of a Jaguar in a Jewish…

  • Why We Hate Jews

“Rob Reiner, Jewish director of 'A Few Good Men,' [says] 'Because Jews are the smartest people in the world, we are also the most hated.” I think Debbie, for one, is going to prove to be something of a disappointment to Rob on the smarts score. However, he also thinks that “Jews have always been…

  • Jewish Loyalty to Israel and “Holocaust Denial” in the Minds of Non-Jews

I In May of 2014, the highly influential Jewish-Zionist organization, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) published their widely publicized and acclaimed, world-wide “survey on Anti-Semitism.” Many of the world’s important news outlets published a story about it, and when this writer carried out a Google Search for “ADL Global 100: An Index of Anti-Semitism,” 385,000 results…

  • A Darkening Shadow

Background: On 20 May 2013 our national newspaper The Australian carried a news report headed “Labor MPs to back PM on anti-Semitism.” It included the following information: “NSW Labor MPs will use this week’s parliamentary sittings for a mass signing of the London Declaration on Combating Anti-Semitism. The Prime Minister became the first Australian leader…

  • Holocaust Denial and Anti-Semitism

The terms “Holocaust denial” and “anti-Semitism” are hopelessly bound together in the public consciousness. In an article published this November on a blog page of the Chicago Sun-Times, it was reported that the US State Department’s Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism, Hannah Rosenthal, would pay particular attention to a growing level of Holocaust…

  • The Debate about “Neighbors”
