David Irving, considered to be among the most-knowledgeable historians on Nazi Germany (Third Reich), gives a talk about the murder of Heinrich Himmler.

David Irving, best selling author of books about the Third Reich, and incredible researcher talks at length in this (one hour and 22 minutes) magnificent video. David, unlike many so called historians, researches and investigates each of his books to a huge, nay massive extent. Here David talks about the mysterious death of Heinrich Himmler in the custody of the Allies, his early life, his war time service, and his actions around the time of the July plot, when traitors to Germany, tried to assassinate Adolf Hitler. David comes out with interesting fact after interesting fact. David reveals the names of the "July" plotters, and their twisted motives. Fascinating and very interesting video. Interesting to see that David's views have changed since this video, and since he released "True Himmler" [Focal Point 2020], which gave a fascinating insight into Himmler's life up to 1939. The story of Himmler's war service is reputed to being worked on at the moment by David, and is expected to be most revealing.

    David John Cawdell Irving was born on March 24, 1938, in Essex, England, the son of a Royal Navy Commander. After education at London University, he spent a year working in a steel mill in Germany, where he perfected his fluency in the language. His first book, the best-selling The Destruction of Dresden, was published in 1963, when he was 25 years old. This was followed by many others. His books have appeared in a range of languages. Several have been serialized in prominent periodicals. He has contributed articles to some 60 British and foreign periodicals including the Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Express in Britain, and Stern and Der Spiegel in Germany.
