TRANSLATORS—The first responses to my call for translators are trickling in. I am sending your names to Jan Metz, managing editor for translators, and he will be in touch with you shortly. We need help in every language, but at this time particularly with translating materials from English into the Romance languages, particularly Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. All work done would be published on the Internet, on our World Wide Web site, and become part of a permanent, multi-lingual library of documents relating to revisionist theory. If you have the necessary skills to translate documents from English into any foreign language, or vice versa, and would like to help CODOH grow as the spearhead of what ourtwo French friends call the “Revisionist International” (see p. 6), please contact me at any of the below numbers.

PRESS CLIPPINGS I continue to depend on readers like you for press clippings on revisionism and the Campus Project. During the two (preferably) or three weeks following your receipt of this issue of SR I would like to have anything available, dated from mid-September on, from such universities as SUNY-Plattsburgh, Georgia State, Indiana U-South Bend, Kent State, Marquette, NJ Institute of Technology, Stanford, SUNY-Oswego, U Arkansas, U Maine, U Vermont, U Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and Wayne State. Anything in the city papers that report on the Campus Project will also be valuable.

NEW NAMES Our search for new subscribers to Smith’s Report never (never) ends. One of the best sources for new subscribers is new subscribers. If you are a new sub, you probably know people who would be interested in receiving a free copy of SR and a subscription form. If you can help out with ten names, say, or a hundred and ten, it would be a valuable piece of work.

With you, we can do it. Without you? Not a chance!

  • Bradley R. Smith

    Bradley R. Smith was born in Los Angeles on February 18, 1930. At 18 he joined the army and in 1951 served with the infantry in Korea where he was twice wounded. After three decades of a variety of professional activities, it suddenly hit him: In 1979 he read a leaflet by Professor Robert Faurisson, "The Problem of the Gas Chambers." Then, Arthur Butz’s The Hoax of the Twentieth Century did it for him. He understood from the beginning that he would address the censorship, the suppression of independent thought, the taboo against publishing and debating revisionist arguments—not the arguments themselves. That has remained his position. In 1989, Smith founded Committee for Open Debate on the Holocaust (CODOH) dedicated to defending free speech and free inquiry into the Holocaust question. He handed over CODOH's helm in late 2014. He passed away on his 86th birthday, February 18, 2016. Read a series of obituaries here.
