David Irving on Churchills Drunkenness and Character.
In this fascinating (17 minute) video, David Irving, the brilliant author, incredible researcher and author of numerous books, talks about the character of Winston Spencer-Churchill. David gives numerous examples of how Churchill was drunk as a skunk on numerous occasions. Even Roosevelt called Churchill a “drunken bum”. David cites times when Churchill was so drunk that he was incoherent. David reveals that so many the private diaries of so many people, who knew Churchill, tell the same story again and again. Churchill was drunk numerous times, in Cabinet, in Admiralty meetings and in Parliament. David relates how Churchill was angry and aggressive, when he met the Sultan of Morocco. The Sultan as a Moslem didn’t drink alcohol, and it was deemed inappropriate for the meeting. David says that the Sultan was highly offended at Churchill’s pathetic conduct. David, talks about Churchill’s efforts to use poison gas and anthrax on German Cities. Professor Richard Overy’s book “The Bombing War” is cited – Professor Overy proved that Churchill started the bombing of civilians. Look out for Luftwaffe ace, Adolf Galland. David’s surmise that Churchill had a clinical problem, is given added weight as Churchill’s son Randolph was also a drunkard, and literally drunk himself to death proving himself a failure as a politician and a man.
