Free-speech champion Douglas Christie gives a talk in Ottawa 1991

Douglas Christie was a brilliant lawyer, who defended Ernest Zundel in the great Holocau$t trial of 1982. Doug as he was known, reduced "Holocau$t" expert "Professor" Hilberg to a complete faker. In all his 20 odd years as an "expert", Hilberg, a ugly individual, was forced to admit that he had only been to one camp in all that time. Doug, with a barrage of awkward questions, forced Holocau$t liars to back track, claiming artistic licence. Here, the ultra intelligent Doug speaks to a rapt audience (One hour 12 minutes). Doug sadly passed away in 2017, dying of cancer.

    Douglas Hewson "Doug" Christie, Jr. (April 24, 1946 – March 11, 2013) was a Canadian lawyer and political activist based in Victoria, British Columbia who was known nationally for his defence of clients such as Holocaust revisionist Ernst Zündel during his famous two Zündel Trials in Toronoto (1985 and 1988).
