The Journal of Historical Review - covers

Volume Sixteen · Numbers 1 through 6 · 1996/1997

Between 1980 and 2002, The Journal of Historical Review was published by the Institute for Historical Review. It used to be the publishing flagship of the revisionist community, but it ceased to exist in 2002 for a number of reasons, mismanagement and lack of dedication being some of them. CODOH mirrors the old papers that were published in that journal. To see the table of contents of this volume’s issues, click on the respective issue number in the subcategory list below.

Thanks to cable TV, I recently caught…

How Historian Gilbert Falsifies and Invents

British historian Martin Gilbert is a falsifier. While he is best known as the official biographer of Winston Churchill, he has also written several widely-lauded works on the “Holocaust.” Gilbert, who is Jewish, staunchly defends the thesis of the so-called extermination of the Jews, an extermination allegedly carried out in particular by means of homicidal…

German Authorities ‘Index’ Two IHR Leaflets

A German government censorship agency has “indexed” as “dangerous to youth” translations of two leaflets published by the Institute for Historical Review. At the request of Germany’s Interior Ministry, the “Federal Review Agency for Literature Dangerous to Youth” (Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Schriften) on October 17 and 18, 1996, “indexed” unauthorized Internet translations of two IHR…

‘Holocaust Deception’ Makes Waves in Turkey

A new revisionist book in Turkey has been receiving both warm praise and sharp criticism. Published in Istanbul, Soykirim Yalani (“Holocaust Deception”) is the first book-length dissident study of the Holocaust issue to appear in the nation of some 64 million people. The handsomely produced 285-page softcover work, subtitled “The Secret History of the Zionist-Nazi…

New Attacks Against Arthur Butz for Revisionist Web Site

Ever since the publication two decades ago of his pioneering revisionist study, The Hoax of the Twentieth Century, Northwestern University teacher Arthur Butz has been something of an embarrassment for the highly regarded private educational institution. Recently the Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering has again come under attack for presenting his dissident view…

On the Garaudy/Abbé Pierre Affair

Someone has passed on to me a comment by Jean Stevenin, a lawyer of the Paris bar: “This is a continuation of the Faurisson affair!” For him, at bottom, the Garaudy/Abbé Pierre affair is (as was the Roques affair or the Notin affair) a growth, a resurgence and a continuation of the Faurisson affair, which…
